This App will help you to select the proper wire size for the specified load, you can make adjustments in the wire ampacity and calculate the voltage drop.

• For low voltage wires up to 600 VAC, 60 Hz
• Data based on NEC Table 310-15(B)(16) formerly 310-16
• For copper or aluminium wires
• For 14 AWG through 1000 kcmil conductor sizes
• Accepts conductors in parallel larger than 1/0 AWG

By specifying voltage and the number of phases, the app calculates the load, either in Amps or Watts.
With the help of the slider, select the wire size needed for the load, until you find the optimum ampacity of the cable.
You can make adjustments for more than three conductor in conduit and adjustments for ambient temperature, you can also calculate the voltage drop for the distance you specify and according to conduit material.
